A team from Germany at the handball tournament for cup "Todor Hankov"

A team from Germany will participate in the second edition of the handball tournament for cup "Todor Hankov", in memory of the athlete and trainer. The competition, which is organized by HC "Chernomorets Burgas" under the aegis of Municipality Burgas, will be held on 2 and 3 September /Wednesday and Saturday/ in sports hall "Mladost". The teams of "Parham", "Lokomotiv" and "Spartak" from Varna, "Dobrudja" Dobrich and the hosts - "Fregata" will take part in the tournament. In the first group are "Lokomotiv" and "Fregata", and in the second "Spartak", "Dobrudja" and "Parham".

The tournament is part of the events marking "Burgas - European city of sports 2015". The start is from 12:30 on September 2, and the official opening is at 16:30 hours. The final match, in whom the winners of the two groups will meet, is on September 3 from 12:45. Right after it from 14:00 hours is the award ceremony.

All teams will receive cups, and the first three in the final standings will also receive medals. The organizers have come up with individual prizes - best goalie, best defender, MVP, goal master and best trainer, fair play cup.

"This is the most prestigious tournament, which is organized in Bulgaria. The strongest Bulgarian teams, led by the champion "Fregata", and this time there will be international participation. I expect serious interest from the fans of handball from Burgas and the region, as well as from the guests of the city", said the president of HC "Chernomorets Burgas" Rusko Hankov.

The entrance of hall "Mladost" will be free of charge.
