“Emerald Princess” is the biggest cruise ship, which has visited the Black sea, will arrive at Sea station Burgas on 27 August. With its welcome, at Sea station Burgas will be opened cruise season 2015. The passengers, who have registered for precursory excursions will visit Nesebar and Pomorie. A part of them will go to Varna, and some to the ancient Sozopol.
Port Burgas has confirmed five more visits of big passenger cruises – two of them of the 294 meter MSC ORCHESTRA, and two of the 252 meter MSC SINFONIA, which will happen in September and October. Over 15 000 tourist will arrive in Burgas during this cruise season.
The giant “Emerald Princess” is a real attraction with its impressive size – 290 meters length, 36 meters width, 113 561 mass tonnage and 22 knots speed. The pride of the Italian shipyard Fincantieri – Emerald Princess is class cruise ships and is one of the biggest in the fleet Princess, part of the group Carnival cruise. The five-star sailing resort has 15 passenger decks, 900 cabins with balconies, luxurious restaurants, casino, theater, night clubs, relax zones with spa center and fitness, several open-air swimming pools. On board will be 3080 passengers and 1200 crew, which is a record for Burgas.
Regarding the fulfilment of the security orders and the smooth bus service of the passengers on the territory for public access and around Sea station the movement of vehicles will be restricted. The management of Port Burgas and Municipal company "Burgasbus" provide special bus line (shuttle) for the tourists, who would want to see Burgas. The pedestrian access people in the Zone will not be restricted, but the access to the quay front will be prohibited.
The municipal ship "Anastasia" will travel on schedule. Its stopping place will be on the territory of Marina port Burgas, where the people who want to visit the island will be serviced. Guests and residents of the city can visit island Saint Anastasia only after they make a precursory reservation.
