One exciting weekend awaits island Saint Anastasia. The holiday of the island is organized by Municipality Burgas and Municipal Enterprise "Tourism" on 15 August.
The events begin on Saturday. At 09:00 the Brass orchestra will welcome at Sea station the fists passengers, which will sail to the island with ship "Anastasia". The ship also has a holiday on the 15th, when it becomes exactly 1 year from its first voyage. On this occasion there will be a raffle on the sip, and a winner will be announced at 10:00, who will receive a prize.
The first group of visitors will arrive on the island at 10:30 hours. At that time begin several interesting surprises for the guests. They will have the chance to pull out mussels from the farm at the island and cook them on a metal plater, an old tradition of Burgas. Professional actors from the puppet theater will entertain the children. The kids will have the opportunity to make sea adornments and souvenirs in a special art workshop.
After becoming one of the favorite tourist destinations, the island will now have its own post stamp. It will be validated on the island at 11:00 hours with a special ceremony. Anyone, who wishes, can buy the stamp and send a letter. There will be a mail box, which will collect the letters of the visitors. At 11:30 ensemble "Strandja" will give start to the longest island horo.
The lighthouse is one of the least known places on the island, but on the holiday it will be open. People will get the chance to see it from the inside and learn its history. The visitors will be allowed only 1 at a time.
The night will be devoted to Hristo Fotev. From 18:00 hours will his poetry works will be read. In 21:00 begins a concert of Toni Dimitrova. Because of this there will be additional courses of the ships "Anastasia" and "Cook" from 20:00 hours. The ticket costs 20 leva, the price includes the transport.
