The premiere of "Princess Quack" gives start to the festival "The Hour of puppets"

“Living fairy tales” will entertain the fans of Puppet Theater in the week from 9 to 16 August at open-air stage “Ohluva”. Then it will be held the second edition of the International puppet festival “The Hour of the puppets”. Every night, with a free entry, will be performed two plays – one from 19:00 hours and the second from 20:30 hours.

The pamphlet of the event includes emblematic Bulgarian and foreign fairy tales – “Plums for trash” /Center of Arts Smolyan, Bulgaria on 10 and 11 August from 20.30 and 19.00 hours/, “The dwarf Longnose” /State puppet theater Sliven, Bulgaria on 11 August from 20.30 hours/, “Hansel and Gretel” /theater “Ako”, Sofia, Bulgaria on 13 and 15 August from 19.00 and 20.30 hours/. Young and old will also have the pleasure to enjoy one fun musical play “Allegro Vivace” of State puppet theater Varna, Bulgaria on August 10 from 19.00 hours.

In the first day of the festival people will watch the premiere of Burgas puppet theater – “Princess Quack”. It will begin right after the official start – 20.00 hours on 9 August /Sunday/.

In the rich program there is a reserved place for three foreign performances – the plays “Game for four hands” presented by Chemodan Duo KVAM /Russia/ on 12 and 14 August from 19.00 hours. Theater MARIONETARIUM from Spain will entertain the public on 12 and 13 August from 20.30 with the play “Wooden clowns”. On 14 and 15 August from 19.00 hours and 20.30 hours the audience will watch “Pulcinella”, the emblematic Italian character with a mask of a rooster. The show will be presented by theater Gianluca Di Matteo, Italy.

“Parade of the kites” will be the colorful final of the initiative from 19.00 hours on August 16.
