The first Bulgarian woman, to have played in the NBA, presents her book in Burgas

On her birthday one of the most successful women's basketball players, the first Bulgarian woman in NBA - Gergana Braznova, will present her book "Otvisoko na jivota" / A high point of view of life/. This will happen on 25 July from 19:00 in the expo center "Flora Burgas" in the framework of the exhibition "With a book on the beach".

"A high point of view of life" is one emotional confession of the athlete for the thorny way towards the dreams, for the family joys and woes, about how one should never give up, and to fight until the end.

Gergana Branzova is born on 25 July 1976 in Burgas in the family of the basketball legend Boicho Branzov. She starts her sports path in "Neftohimik" Burgas and passes through many Bulgarian and foreign teams. Her carrier is distinguished with the fact that she is the first Bulgarian woman, who has played for the women's NBA. In 2008 she is picked for "Basketball player N1 of Bulgaria". She is a mother of 3 children. Her new work is connected with the mission and works of foundation "My strength" and foundation "Boicho Branzov - Be better".

"With a book the beach" is the newest summer initiative of Municipality Burgas, which gives the opportunity to leading publishers and publishing-houses to present the newest popular authors and titles from different literature genres and to popularize the book as an entertaining and true "partner" in the summer day. The exhibition will be held from 22 to 29 July in expo center "Flora Burgas" from 10:00 to 22:00 hours.
