In art gallery "Petko Zadgorski" will be arranged an interesting exhibition of one emblematic artist from Burgas - Rusi Stoyanov /1955-2004/. It will be opened on 21 July, Tuesday, from 18.00 hours.

Rusi Stoyanov was born on 12 June 1955 in Burgas. He studied in the Art high-school in Kazanlak, in 1980 graduated University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" in Veliko Tarnovo, specialty "Black and white drawing and aesthetics". He takes part in many joint exhibitions in Bulgaria, and abroad. His works can be found in many Bulgarian galleries and collections in Bulgaria and abroad.

While alive Rusi Stoyanov did not have an independent exhibition, but he was a dreamer with grand plans. He created works and let them "live" on their own.

Defined as a painter of the Renaissance type, who can do all; as an artist with big creative charge and original creative thinking, he realized many ideas in the sphere of black and white drawing, painting, applied monumental art, plastic art and architecture.

Two of the contemporary symbols of Burgas - "the Gramophone" on str. "Bogoridi" and the cross in the area "Shiloto", are his works. He was voted for painter of Burgas in 2003.
