The latest works of the writer from Burgas Nedyalko Yordanov "Love during times of socialism" and the "Stage is my home" will be presented in the framework of the exhibition "With a book on the beach". This will happen on 23 July from 19:00 hours in the new Expo center "Flora - Burgas".
"Love during times of socialism" is the first novel of Nedyalko Yordanov, in which are followed the love experiences, thrills and disappointments of one dramatist in the provincial theater. This is a story, told like a dairy, in which a series of events turn around the life of the protagonist and emotionally dull him. And yet he tries to find and keep the love and eventually succeeds.
"The stage is my home" is one poetic diary of the love of Nedyalko Yordanov towards the stage. The collection includes songs, arias and duets, and 2 analyses of "Hamlet" and "The Seagull".
Nedyalko Yordanov is born on 18 January 1940 in Burgas, where here graduates high-school in 1957. In 1962 he graduates "Bulgarian philology" in the Sofia university. For one year he is a literature teacher in Malko Tarnovo. From 1963 until present days he works only in the theater. From 1983 he is dramatist of the Burgas drama theater "Adriana Budevska", and from 1983 to 1990 he is an art director of the same theater. From 1990 to 1999 he is dramatist and director in the theater "Vazrajdane" in Sofia.
"With a book the beach" is the newest summer initiative of Municipality Burgas, which gives the opportunity to leading publishers and publishing-houses to present the newest popular authors and titles from different literature genres and to popularize the book as an entertaining and true "partner" in the summer day. The exhibition will be held from 22 to 29 July in expo center "Flora Burgas" from 10:00 to 22:00 hours.
Co-organizer of the event is Regional library "P.K. Yavorov" with media partners "Az cheta", Municipal radio "Glasat na Burgas", Radio "Burgas" and "Vij! Burgas".
