Extreme competition gathers the best mountain bikers in Burgas

Over a hundred competitors will ride in the competition this Sunday.

For a second consecutive year the fans of extreme sports will have the chance to enjoy the exceptionally attractive competition "Downhill Burgas". The bike tournament will be held this Sunday /12 July/ from 12:30. The competition will happen in the area "Shiloto", near "Meden rudnik".

The area "Shiloto" is the highest spot in Burgas. The competition "Downhill Burgas" is included in the calendar of "Bulgarian Cycling Union", which makes it automatically into an international event.

Precursory signing up will be available until 09:00 hours on Sunday.

The regulation of the competition is for time; every participant can choose either to go around the obstacles, which will cause him to loose time, or to jump them. Competitors from almost all age groups can participate in the competition. The categories are: 10-14 years old, 15-17 years old, and 18-30 years old. In the category "Masters" can ride the trainers over 30. One of the most intriguing groups is category "Women".

The international competition "Downhill Burgas" is organized by Municipality Burgas in partnership with club "Shore Invaders".
