Festival of the Wine Burgas

From 30 July to 2 August in expo center "Flora" will be held the second edition of the wine festival, organized by the National viticulturist-wine merchant's chamber and company "Expo team", with the support of Municipality Burgas and the cooperation of the Union of oenologists in Bulgaria.

Sauvignon blanc will be in the spot light this year. Tasting and master classes will open the their doors for the uninitiated, as well as for the specialists.

The event will be officially opened on 30 July from 15 hours in the Flora.

-16.00 hours – Competition “Sauvignon blanc of Burgas wine festival 2015”:

Professional jury tastes wines of sort Sauvignon blanc, presented by the companies participating in the festival

30 July

- 10.30 hours – Masters class Sauvignon blanc with David Cobbold, France

- 12.00 – 19.00 hours – Customers taste wines of sort Sauvignon blanc, presented by the companies participating in the festival

- 15.00 hours – Official opening of the festival

- 16.00 hours – The Bulgarian medalists from SMV 2015 – presentation with degustation of wines, presented by the companies participating in the festival

- 18.00 hours – Night program

31 July

- 10.30 hours – Balkan sort wines, masters class, Stanimir Stoyanov, chairman of the Union of enologists in Bulgaria

- 12.00 hours – Announcement of the awards for competition “Choice of the customer” – Sauvignon blanc

- 12.00 – 19.00 hours – Competition “Choice of the customer” – white and red wines, presented by the companies participating in the festival

- 16.00 hours – Presentation for DSK, sommelier Vihren Velkov
